I needed some sort of tray to count tiny threaded inserts without them spreading all over the desk. When purchasing these little pieces many reviewers stated the first thing they did was count the pieces to make sure they got what they paid for. You can easily make bigger trays to count bigger screws or inserts or count more pieces at once.
