This model is designed to complement a standard BSA Pinewood Derby kit.
Pinewood block should be resawed from 1.25" to 0.25" thick.
1.375" should be removed from the “front” of the block with a crosscut. The “front” has a gap of 1.78" between the axle groove & the end of the block. The “rear” of the block has a 0.81" gap.
The "Crosscut Jig" model should make it obvious where to cut.
Due to the dimensions of the ‘92 Batmobile, we’re forced to run the Pinewood block “backward” down the track, or the wheels won't look right. Deal with it. Batman's cool.
