This handy solder holder helps hold the solder filament above the piece you are soldering so it is easy to put more on the tip of your soldering iron.

It can hold two - ¼ pound spools of solder, and has holes to feed solder and keep it secure when you are done soldering. The arms (yellow in the photos) can fold out so the end of the solder filament is above your work. When you are done soldering, they can be retracted and screwed onto the main body.

I printed the yellow parts that have screws with 4 perimeters and 25% infill. That way they are quite strong for plastic threads. I printed the main body at default slicer settings. Print with the front face down and add supports on the front edge. You need to choose which body to print, with or without feet. If you print the one with feet, add support to the rectangular foot.

The pegs and rectangular foot are in the design because I have a little metal holder for soldering iron and brass wool cleaning pad. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09XQTVRFK My model will perfectly rest into the holes of that metal holder (shown in the last 2 photos) for storage or for extra height of the solder wire if needed.

The STLs have the pieces oriented correctly to print.

Happy Soldering!!
