I needed a piece to hold filter material for the upcoming eclipse. These were designed for 53mm diameter Leupold 10x42 binoculars. They are a nice press fit on those. They should fit anything that has the same size objective lens. They also allow the use of the normal lens caps to protect the delicate filters. You'll need to print this twice for a pair of binoculars.
If you do use this design, please make sure you're using safe, ISO-rated filter material. Any shortcuts could cause blindness. You are magnifying the sun with binoculars and can blind yourself in milliseconds if your filter material is sub-par. Quality solar film will run about $10 for a 6x6inch/15x15cm piece. Enough to do 2-3 pairs of small-mid sized binoculars. I use the stuff from this link on Amazon. Don't cheap out on your eyesight, friends.
If other sizes are needed, drop me a note and I'll resize as needed and upload.
