The original had 15 separate hex tiles of water (plus the jigsaw base) for the Catan board border.
I painstakingly merged the borders and dock models to form the border pieces similar to the base game.
There are 6 pieces, with docks located in the correct position, true to the original game.
I intend to print the pieces in colour to best visualise which each dock is for, but the models are designed to be able to recognise what is what anyway.
