I'm working on right now on simple page that allow you to generate STL without need of OpenSCAD on your computer.
This project allows users to create a personalized 3D text keychain. You can choose any text, and the script will automatically generate an STL file ready for 3D printing.
Instructions:
Enter Your Text:
- Open the script in OpenSCAD.
- In the text_var variable, input any text you want to display on the keychain. Use onlu uppercase letters.
Adjust Parameters:
- Customize other parameters, such as font size, loop options, etc.
- Experiment with different fonts, but it’s recommended to use Futura, Impact, or Arial.
- Avoid changing the font style to bold, although you can experiment with italic.
- heart_width_ratio variable allows you to better match heart size with text length.
Run the Script:
- Execute the script in OpenSCAD.
- The script will generate an STL file with your 3D text.
3D Print:
- Download the STL file.
- Print the keychain on your 3D printer.
