This is how I came up with the naming for the BT Hexes:

Breakdown: A simple way to explain is by example. If you look at something like 1L12L23L3T(B) it looks like a lot but its pretty simple. The first triplet is 1L1 this means there is 1 Level 1 position then it has 2L2, 2 Level 2 positions and finally 3L3 or 3 Level 3. Logical, I hope. Well finish this and i will show another example. Next we have the T. This means the hexes are in a triangle shape. Lastly (B), this configuration is in 2 files but the hexes are not in the same place. Thats it. I hope it makes sense.

The second example I'll give is this: 3L1. This is 3 Level 1 hexes but there is no T because they are in a straight line.

Note: Heights are 1=25.4mm 2=50.8 3=76.2    The hexes are 33.4 on the flat and 38.6 sharp to sharp and do seem to fix on the official paper mats.
