I wanted a way to be sure that I do not take my evening medications in the morning. This double pill bottle is meant as a travel dosing. For the “PM” cap to be removed, the “AM” cap needs to be removed first. You will see there is a nub or projection that will collide with the other cap if it is still in place preventing the “PM” cap from even making one full turn. In most cases, the projection is very close to the “AM” cap when both are fully closed so there is not much more than about 20 degrees of movement of the “PM” cap before it makes contact.

I also included a slightly larger single pill bottle that is about 50% larger than a chapstick tube. This design was spawned from the need to carry Lact-aid. I then added more names to caps and included those in this collection.

All bottles were printed with PETG. The caps were printed with the top down with a layer height of 0.02 mm. To get the “AM” and “PM” to survive on my Bambu X1C with 0.4 mm nozzle, I had to make the setting “Optimized 0.16 mm layers.”

The threads are very smooth without grabbing. The inside of the bottle neck has been chamfered so as to avoid most stringing. Occasionally, I would get a string but most times none inside of the bottle.

Note: The only cap with the controlling nub is the PM cap. None of the other caps have this feature. I included all of the f3d files so it can be easily modified.
