A simple string art model to display on your desk. This is an 80mm x 80mm x 20mm circle with delicate strings. The strings form a curve on on side with a good amount of negative space.
There are two versions, one with and one without a stand. There is also a separate file for the stand if you decide to use one at a later point.
Have fun!
Printer settings:
- 0.20mm, 0.40mm, or 0.6mm nozzle should work, though I recommend 0.40mm
- 0.20mm layer height
- 100% cooling. I used an auxiliary fan in the photo but that may be too much force.
- Slower is generally better, though it's likely your slicer will already choose the correct speed for you.
- No brim or raft
- No supports!
- Note that your slicer is likely going to complain about cantilevers. That's okay! I used Orca Slicer with default settings (arachne walls on).
- PLA in the photo.
