V2) Update:
Designed a new one based on what I've learned from using the first design.
- The drill bit insert holes are now stronger and print better.
- The tolerance is improved, and it should go in easier.
- It uses less materials and prints faster.
- Added a 2020 to 2040 jig as well.
Use this jig to accurately drill holes into 2020 aluminum extrusions for blind joints.
Just insert firmly and it will friction-fit in place firmly.
- Use 5mm or 3/16" drill bit to make the holes.
- If the fit is too loose or too tight, adjust your extrusion percentage accordingly.
- Can also be secured with an M5 screw from the top.
