Rubik's cube for FDM printers, it works fairly well and I've designed it to be as printable as possible, (Screw holes are triangles and go through the layers rather than between them as most core designs I've seen) When printing, you will need to make the core and centres fairly strong but the outer cubes can be made light. Simply use CA glue to stick the two core hemispheres together lining them up by the little mark, then drop a screw in after the glue has set to pin it all together. Put a screw through a washer and spring then through a centre piece and into the core for each of the six centre pieces. You can assemble and disassemble without removing the screws so its ok to glue the colour caps on once you have a cube shape.

Assembling may take some trial and error but start with a ring of edges around the core and work your way out with the final piece being an edge.

You will need:

7 X M3 self tapping screw 25mm long

6 X M3 washer 6.8mm OD

6 X Springs 10mm L 6.5mm OD and 0.5mm Wire width

CA glue

Petroleum Jelly for lubrication

You will need to print:

6 X Centre Pieces

12 X Edge Pieces

8 X Corner Pieces

Per Colour (six colours):

4 X Corner colour caps

4 X Edge colour caps

1 X Centre colour caps
