For changing the Nozzle on my XL I need a T8 screwdriver for tightening and loosening the grub screw that holds the nozzle assembly in place. I wanted to make a handle for the Prusa-supplied T8 allen key, just to find it more easily.

So the obvious choice for the handle is the geometry of the Nextruder-Nozzle. The geometry is a 2:1 scale model of the original.

First you need to cut the original T8 allen key at the short end. I used a Dremel tool. My metal-saw didn't work, as the material seems to be hardened. But you could also use an angle grinder or something similar.

The cut should be more or less 6mm from the other side:

Now it should fit inside the nozzle. It's assembled by screwing the different parts together. Here's a cross-section-view from the whole assembly:

I used PLA for printing the parts. As you shouldn't use much force for screwing the grub screw it should hold up just fine. For more details I used a 0.4mm nozzle with 0.1mm layer height. There are two version for the lower part. One with and one without knurling.

If the inside hole turns out to tight, just use a 3mm drill bit for reaming the inside.
