Having used the excellent table addon for my Inspire 3D scanner by Antimix, I felt the only thing missing was scanner point visibility from a lower angle. Initially I'd added markers to 90 angle side, but those didn't really provide enough tracking on their own.
By adapting it to an angle, you now have a place to add markers that are visible from both lower angles and above. This increases visible markers from almost any angle and allows you to capture more data in a single scan.
The file is available as both a large single print ring, and a split model.
- If using the large model, ensure you have print volume to accommodate a 225mm diameter object.
- If using the split model, you will need to print 4 pieces.
The fit is tight by design - this is a no glue, no screw, press fit adapter. Just print it and press it onto the plate.
I've provided the STEP files as well if anyone wishes to tweak them. Have fun and good luck scanning!
