I needed to replace my janky projector setup that hung it under a shelf. This is what I came up with in Onshape in a couple hours.

You will need a ½ inch long ¼" 20TPI bolt to mount the projector to the clamping structure. the opening for the clamp is around 40mm.

I printed it on its side with 15% infill and 3 layers on all sides. I printed without supports but around the large hole it does show some poor bridging so you may want to use some painted on support for that. I tested it up to 2Kg with some water bottles and it seems to hold up. My projector only weighs 1.3Kg but do your own testing, do not trust me. It might be best to make this out of PETG especially if your printer gets hot.

I added a hexagon version because everyone likes hexagons… it has yet to be weight tested but I think it'll be fine.

NOTE: test the holding strength of your print before mounting your potentially heavy & expensive projector off of it. your PLA and printer may perform differently than mine. You are trusting a stranger off the internet to hold your projector.

NOTE2: do not feed a bolt too deep into your projector, you can potentially break the internals by overtightening. If it seems you have too much bolt for the amount of threaded insert in the projector use some washers to take in the difference.
