My wife wanted a way to store the Yeti lids but didn't want any shelf space used by the holder.  I designed a U-shaped holder that attaches to the inside of the cabinet door.  I attached them using some double-sided tape.  Gorilla tape worked well for ours.

There are two versions:

  • SmallHangerv2 - for the smaller Yeti lids
  • LargeHangerv2 - for the larger Yeti lids

I have also included the Fusion 360 model file that contains the models for both the large and small lid hanger.

The photos are of my original version without the top cross piece.  I decided to add the top cross piece to ensure the verticals stayed parallel when it gets mounted to the door.  This is crucial to ensure the lids don't just fall out.

*** Some off brands fit but can be a little loose.  If you have off brands, you could just adjust the model to ensure a snug fit.

12/23/2024 Update:

Based on a couple of comments, I just uploaded some basic extensions for both the large and small version.  I have also updated the Fusion 360 file that includes these extensions as separate bodies.

I made the extension for the larger holder 250mm long.  This can easily be adjusted in the Fusion 360 file by changing the “Hanger_Large_ExtensionLength” parameter.

I made the extension for the smaller holder 200mm long.  As with the larger holder extension, this can be adjusted by changing the “Hanger_Small_ExtensionLength” parameter.
