This is a head + orbiter2 setup largely inspired by the work of Ender 3 Orbiter V2.0 which itself as root in Tiki_mono.
The thing, is that I didn't want to work on .stl files to adapt it to my ender6. And also it came as a challenge for me, to see how difficult it would be to start from scratch.
What I liked with previous version I used on my ender3, is that this can be an incremental update.
- you can update the body/head and keep the factory extruder,
- you can add the BL touch,
- you can add the orbiter.
Probably it could even work with orbiter on the factory head, maybe with minor modification to the orbiter support.
It assumes that the hotend is the factory ender6 one.

Added Freecad project files (from step export without chamfer).
Hole for fixing Body on back plate are missing. It's on purpose, it's make it easier to adapt on an other plate.
Parts
The head is in 3 main parts
- The body - you will find here
- The orbiter support - same
- The fan duct - see here
The body require 2 inserts (M3 screws) for fixing the fan ducts.
Other parts are screwed directly in Body with M3 screws, and do not require any nuts.
You need an assortments of M3 screws:
- TBD
Orbiter support
The bowden tube should go over the support about 10mm, as you can see here
The cut indicator is here to help doing that.
BLTouch
There is a BLTouch support provided
It fit tightly between the Body and the X-end stop - you may have to temporary remove the end-stop to put it in place.
x_offset: 28.26
y_offset: 0
Don't forget to follow your firmware procedure for the Z-height setup.
Notes
- I don't print ABS, and PLA used to work just fine as long as your hotend is properly cooled by the fan. Yet the safety recommendation is not use PLA and something that support higher temperature. For this iteration I used PETG for the body
- the body is attached using the hotend screws
- the orbiter support is replacing the cable attached. It provide a zip place so you can attach cable on the left.
