Make your own hones or strops for your Lansky® controlled angle sharpening system.
I wanted a strop faster than I could get one so I made a handle that will suit the Lansky® sharpener I have. While doing it I realised you could make grits that you either don't have or better still are not available, using abrasive paper or micromesh like a version of the scary sharp system.
There is a set of handles included with different offsets from the usual plane of the abrasive. Use the one where the offset matches the thickness of your abrasive. There is a non offset version so you can use your slicing software to add the offset if not already done - just print the thing short by the required amount
Glue the abrasive on with adhesive that best suits, Epoxy for leather or a stone, CA glue for paper or micromesh.
The thread is provided by an M4 heat set (or press fit) insert. Use a short screw as the clamp.
