An adapter for self-watering terracota cones, often used with wine or plastic bottles. This adapter allows you to add ½" adapter for quick-connect and use a large water tank. Great for container-grown plants like tomatoes.
Print with UV-stable filament. The “Gasket” must be printed with soft and tacky TPE, Filament PM TPE works great.
The “Gasket” and “Thread” are then sealed to the cone with the help of silicone and secured with the “Colar” and the “Nut” screwed together. This should ensure a robust water-tight connection.
The natural permeability of unglazed terracotta then automatically lets water seep through ensuring even and steady irrigation.
