I needed something to protect my solar filter… so I designed a rudimentary one in Prusa Slicer. It’s not great but it works for me.
The slicer wouldn't export a .stl file for the bottom piece, so I only have the bgcode file for that for ASA filament. Slicer didn't like something about how I did the negative spaces and I'm brand new at designing things so… this is what I got.
I printed the top in PETG, and the bottom in ASA, not PLA… for greater heat resistance. I'm assuming this will be sitting in the sun and in a hot vehicle at some point and I'd rather it not deform.
