The default Reolink mount is designed for mounting to a wall with masonry screws or wall anchors. That's fine, but some applications need a clamping surface instead. This is particularly the case if you want to mount it onto a gutter, on fence, garage or other sheetmetal surface. Any surface with low thickness that cannot hold a regular self-tapping/wood screw, this will suit perfectly and has a large surface area to spread the load.
Designed to use captive nuts to make mounting easier if you cannot easily get to the back side of the clamp when assembling.
You will need:
- 3x M4 socket cap screws (long enough to go through the camera mount, mounting surface and bracket)
- 3x M4 nuts (stainless steel with nyloc is recommended)
Printing:
- PETG or ABS for outdoor durability
- I would recommend a minimum of 4 perimeters
- Minimum of 1.0mm top and bottom solid thickness to add stiffness
- Minimum of 20% infill to add strength to the captive nut and extra stiffness
