Reasonably dimensionally accurate flaps panel, designed to fit Skalarki size Pedestal. Panel size 148.5mm x 100mm.
Solves the problem, how to engrave position legend on curved surface.
3 layer panel designed to be routed from 3mm cast acrylic, but can be 3D printed if backlighting is not required. (both DXF and STL files provided). Top panel 3mm White. Middle panel 3mm frosted clear. Bottom panel 3mm clear. Designed to be glued together prior to painting and engraving.
Lever arc designed to be printed in transparent PETG, 100% infill and then glued in place to illuminate position legend. Top surface should be masked prior to painting. Holes in bottom are for 3mm warm white LEDs. Arc includes small recess for legend.
Legend created by painting and engraving flat 1mm White acrylic sheet, (DXF included) which is then bent around arc and glued in place. 1mm White acrylic can be hard to source, so I CNC machined down from 3mm sheet.
Small lightbox model is included for LED's to illuminate FLAPS label, preventing light leakage through lever slot. Can be printed in any PLA.
Engraving .SVG files provided for both FLAPS engraving and right and left position legend.
