For those with a V3 KE and want to remove the spool from the uprights. Not just for the shaking, but (for me) I wanted to feed the filament from a dry box sitting on my workbench. Both original designs were great. However, I wanted to remix it to lessen the complexity of the “internal gears”. I changed it to a spoke design with some chamfers.

The previous creator said to print it with the axle up, while it may work for some, when I printed it that way, the clip part of the mount broke very easily. I printed it solid (no infill and all walls / perimeters). I printed it twice upright… once without supports (be accident) and was surprised it printed. It worked but the wheel didn't spin that well. Printed it a second time with supports. It barely added any time and it worked out much better and the clip was stronger. I removed the wheel probably 10 times and it didn't break.

Keep in mind that if you take measurements, the depth of the gear hole is slightly larger than the depth between the pressure mount (clip) and the “wall” on the guide / mount. I scaled it down by .05mm Z ONLY. It worked great. I did not print it at its current Z height, but I think it'll work fine. It's only 5g of filament and a 20min print. If mine wasn't already working good, I'd print it again at the height the original STL.
