Took the original design and added a LED, with the cabal channelling and a battery compartment. Print it without supports, insert a stop at layer 36, drop in the battery(will update when I remember what battery this was) with the positive pole facing up and keep printing.
About the wiring, the connection is made through the screw connection of both parts and a small opening, where I dropped in a gold-plated disc with a small prong touching the battery below. I crimped a cable exposing about 0.5mm of cable on bot sides and introduced it in the channel and poked out of the hole where the score was going to pass through.
For the top part, or where the LED goes, I soldered the cables to the LED with length to spare and inserted them leaving them about 1 cm longer on each end I tried them. the one that comes to where the screw threads in just made sure it covered as much as possible of the hole. For the other end, I ended up bunching the cables all together and flattening them so they would poke out about 0.05mm. Using super glue I fix them in place(make sure to scrape the top layer of afterwards).
The LEd is pretty much blued in place with super glue.
That is pretty much, just screw the two parts together and once you open the box the LED turns on.
Should it not make sure the connexion made by the screw is touching both cables.
