I needed to make some alignment pins for a project and needed a way to cut 4mm rod to 10mm long pins so I came up with this AXA mount for my high speed tool.
I used brass inserts for the clamp (3mm). The holes are too small but that way they can be drilled out to use screws and nuts or inserts.
The shank on the hand tool is 25mm in diameter. Make sure you cover the lathe bed so the grit and sparks won't damage it.
