David Smith is an amateur mathematician that discovered this monotile able to cover the plane non-periodically.
I've been obsessed with this tile since I found out about through Veritasium Youtube Channel. I just used his tile and modeled a couple of 3d object that can be used to hang on your wall.
The first and simpler model is just the tile itself, you can print as many as you want, play with the size and then just have fun glue them together, and there is a high chance your puzzle will be unique (due to the properties of the tile itself). The second tile offers the same, except that you can see by your self its relationship with the hexagon, a regular polygon that can cover the plane periodically (that's the reason I'm so obsessed).
I'm providing a hanger to match the model theme, but as you can see in my pictures, you can just use any wall mount and hang it whatever you want.
