Parametric and customizable drawer pull. Uses M4 heat inserts with od of 5.7mm (parametric).
I've designed the model to use the screw shaft as reinforcement to mitigate breakage due to print orientation. You want the screw to be able to screw and be held by the plastic itself before melting the heat insert. Ideally use DIN 7991 screws. You can also use parameters to set it be compatible with wood screws.
To convert the pull to use woodscrews:
- heat_insert_hole_diameter - screw shaft inner diameter
- screw_diameter - screw shaft inner diameter
All parameters and their meaning:
- heat_insert_hole_diameter - outer diameter
- shaft_length - how far the screw is inside the pull
- outer_diameter - how big the pull is
- wall_thickness - difference of outer radius of the pull shaft and the radius of the screw
- screw_diameter - outer diameter of the screw, used to customize the fit
