NOTES:
⁕ As quite a few people have shown an interest in this, I am designing another more refined version with options for smaller bed, interchangeable adapter plates (to sharpen scissors, axes and non-magnetic blades,  etc.) I will be putting that design on for $5 though.  I am lobbing this one up for free as up to this point it was something I was doing anyway. It does the job I intended it to do.  The revised version will take time I could spend doing other things, hence putting a value against that time.

⁕ This is a functional prototype.  It was intended solely for my use and made with bits I had in my “I will definitely use that at some point in the future” drawer. It works but it aint pretty.
⁕ This needs a printer with a large bed.  At least 300mm in one direction.
⁕ It is designed for holding stones that are 180mm in length but you can obviously cut the pipe to whatever length you like to hold different sizes.

Non printable items you will need are:
·         2 x M8 30mm length Hex coupling nuts/Threaded Rod connecting nuts

·         3 x M8 65mm length threaded rod (Just buy a length and cut it with a hack saw)

·         1 x 275mm length 10mm OD and 8mm ID aluminium tube

·         1 x 250mm length 10mm OD and 8mm ID aluminium tube

·         1x 10mm bore threaded rod eye bearing

·         1 x M6 70mm Cylinder Head Cap Screw

·         1 X M6 Nut

·         2 X M6 50mm Set screws

·         2 x M6 washers

2 x 60mm x 10mm x 4mm neodymium magnets Or whatever shape you can get and use the slicer “Add Negative part” to cut appropriate slots/holes for the size you have using the blank version of the knife base file.

You will also need a digital angle gauge. I bought mine of AliExpress for about £5.

I am assuming you know how wetstones work and that you know different knives have different angles.
