I liked the original Picavet, but wanted to experiment making my own Picavet design with threaded inserts. I first made a remix mode and plugged all of the holes in the original design with additional solid cylinder parts to fill all of the hole in each are arm and base with the camera mount will be placed.

Second remix has holes for screw eyes on the arms and a 8"mm center hole for a ¼" threaded insert that will accept a GoPro camera with a ¼" 10-20 double threaded bolt. I also removed the lettering along of the arms. (This lettering consisted of ~30 additional “items” that significantly complicated the model.

I used Jesse PETG and 4 perimeters, Gyroid infill, 0.15mm layers and no crossing perimeters.

The parts were either ordered from a on-line source or from the local hardware store.

Longline fishing snap clips are used to secure the picavet lines to the kite line.
