Acquired this little module as part of some used equipment still in its conductive bag. Available from several suppliers (eBay, AliExpress, Banggood, OnBuy, fruugo etc.) under several manufacturer names, mostly from China. I measured the module with electronic calipers and only took three iterations to get everything right. By removing the four top PCB screws I fixed the module in the case with longer screws through internal mounting bosses. The OpenSCAD file includes a module to print a small part of the case with the bosses and opening for the LCD display so that the opening and bosses can be precision adjusted for an exact fit without wasting much filament, and the final result can then be copied back into the main program.
The case has openings for the on/off switch and the SMA connector. The back (or lid) has a raised flange around its edge which permits a close fit to the case. The divider between the module and the battery compartment has cutouts for this flange and also a cutout for the battery leads. The module is powered by a 9 volt PP3 battery which fits in the lower compartment. Screws are used to attach the back plate screwing directly into the plastic bosses that form the corners of the case. These corner bosses allow the walls of the case to be thin and therefore not restricting the SMA input connector nor the on/off switch and reducing the overall use of filament.
I printed this in Prusament PETG using 0.2mm layers on my Prusa i3 MK3S+ with 20% infill using a 0.4 nozzle on a textured bed, no supports, or brim required.
