Hello.
Here is continuation of my biggest project - building of Jawa-ČZ 250/353.02 Kývačka. Free 3D model of the bike is available here: https://www.printables.com/cs/model/738743-project-jawa-cz-kyvacka-25035302-part-no1-frame
For today I prepared the sidecar for the bike. It is a complete 3D model of Velorex 560 sidecar, made in between 1957-1975 (the prototype in 1956) year in Czechoslovakia.

Like any other means of transportation, the Velorex 560 has undergone many design changes during production. I chose, as a model for my model, a later version with coil spring suspension, because it is easier to manufacture and the wheel swing will be preserved, as in a real sidecar.
I chose a 1:3.33 scale (as a bike of course) for the print so the real bolts and nuts could be used for the assembly.
Therefore you should calculate that you will need M1-M6 taps for construction, which will be used to create threads in the printed parts. You will also need micro screwdrivers and hex wrenches.
Unfortunately, for FDM 3D printing, the model had to be simplified and a lot of small parts that could not be printed.

Please consider that the length of the bike is more than 60cm, and the width with the mounted sidecar will grow to roughly a similar size! The weight increase from 1.5 kg (solo bike) to 3kg (1.5kg the bike + 1.5kg the sidecar). With such a high weight, the front fork of the motorcycle will already have a problem. Expect to lighten the front wheel - ideally leave the main stand on the bike to support this weight.
Like a real sidecar, this model can be detached from the motorcycle at any time. The attachment points are fully functional and sufficiently dimensioned to support the weight of the sidecar.
But enough about the introduction. Let's move to the construction…
As usual the model part consist a big parts but the very small also so pay attention to the description and attached pictures. As usual be extremely careful during the assembly itself and work slowly and cautiously.
If you manage to damage or break some part despite being extra careful you should "weld" it with a soldering gun rather than gluing it with super glue.
If you will need more pictures for better understanding, you can see here:

1st the frame
Printing instruction:
- frame_velorex_1 - 1 piece, red PLA, 40% infill, 0.15-0.2 layer.
- frame_velorex_2 - 1 piece, red PLA, 40% infill, 0.15-0.2 layer.
- frame_velorex_3 - 1 piece, red PLA, 100% infill, 0.15-0.2 layer.
Assembly instruction:
- The frame is prepared for printing plate Prusa Mk3/4. It is divided into 3 pieces. The frame_velorex_1.stl is necessary to situated on the plate according picture below. If you have smaller plate you have to divided the frame_velorex_1.stl in slicer into smaller pieces.

- After print remove all supports and glue all 3 pieces of the frame into one by superglue.

And… that's it all for now. You can look forward to the next part.
