I made a test linkage. Printed it. The kids loved it and wanted more of them in the world so demanded I post it as a Fidget toy. And here we are. Perhaps not the most creative model, but it should work reasonably well at a wide range of scales.
Printed and adored at the “inch to mm” conversion which is common / automatic in slicers for my Meter-scaled prototypes. Maybe target hand-size for your use-case?
If you actually want to use this, you should be able to slicer-level hack this together with your favorite models to make them articulated, twas what this was meant for before becoming the source of a constant clicking sound in my life.
