The back-plate for my Neptune 3 Max arrived bent, and I couldn't get it quite bent back right. I reverse engineered it, adding considerations for a plastic construction, and now it works great and is strong.
I printed in PETG. I don't know, but this part might not get hot and PLA may do just fine. Print upright, in the same orientation that it is installed, with normal supports (build-plate-only). You can use variable-layer-height to decrease the print time.
