The hook is 3.5 mm in width but it can be easily adjusted to be wider or thinner depending on usecase.
I printed the ones I currently use out of PLA; though I'm not sure how much the material will creep with time, so I guess print it in ABS or PETG if you want to be sure.
Fit and “clamp on strenght” is currently only tested with PLA
