Update: Added a version with a slightly higher front gate and larger back hole. Works better to larger pellets and messy birds (less waste).
After trying a few different options, I decided to try and make a chicken feeder that was versatile and easy to print. This is what I came up with. In side by side testing our chickens preferred this design.
As this is a working part, I recommend PETG. Needs a bit of support under the front, but I printed just a support enforcer under the front lip.
Fits in a 3 ¼ inch or 85mm hole
