This is for 5 inch random orbital sanding discs. The idea is that they are able to stack and can be grabbed easily.
“Top Cap” is intended to be used on the very top, while the “Base Plus” will connect from the bottom up.
Scale up or down to fit your disc size.
Will be revising with keyhole hanger spaces if one wanted to hang from a wall or shelf etc. Will also be adding a “clip” for printing a label indicating the paper grit for each module. Remix of the shorter size from Pascal Lieverse @PascalLievers_277993 also in the works.
Plenty strong with a nice fit and finish with following printer, settings, and filament:
- Printed on Bambu P1S with eSun PLA+
- 0.4mm nozzle with standard quality setting
- 15% infill, grid pattern
- Did not use any supports and printed perfectly
- Took about 5-6 hours for 2
