Itty bity clamps originally made for repairing basketry in the field of conservation, to fit in between the warps/wefts.
Clamp strength is very light for friable objects, and can be adjusted with variable spring parameters.
Slide the arm through the clamp and use a little super glue hold it in place; that's the only assembly needed.
