I scoured google for a 3D scan of a piece of equipment that I work with daily. I really wanted to make a keychain of the thing and couldn't find anything. I found cases for meters, but that was the closest I could find. So I pulled up a photo reference of the tester I work with: A Fluke Versiv V2 FiberOptic Tester, and made one rough, raw print that- yes, looked good- but the accuracy to the real thing was… off? I brought it to work, showed it off to my fellow testers, and then compared it to the real deal. Then made several notes, then fixed the model from there.

For details, I highly recommend printing this upright with supports. The face is a lot smoother, as you can see with the white model, however, this does run the risk of the print collapsing (the white one was print attempt #2 after discovering that), but it should be fine with supports and the printing speed at… 210?

For print stability and details are not a must, leave it lying on its back. No supports necessary :) I printed these at 2in/50.8mm

btw i'm very confused about the licensing, if someone would help explain what everything means, it'd be greatly appreciated
