Very basic two-axis camera slider utilizing PVC for rods.
Sized for 1" PVC (for longer axis) and ½" PVC (for shorter axis).
Carriage plate rides on ½" PVC and contains 9 holes designed for ¼-20 hex bolts.
Photos show a slider with a 4' X and 3' Y, which easily supports an Insta360 One RS. The rig is sturdy enough that I would be comfortable attaching my Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera to the rig, and will probably do so eventually.
As with all functional prints, I recommend increasing the number of walls before increasing infill. All parts should print fine without supports.
You will need:
- 1x carriage
- 2x end sliders
- 4x end caps
- 2x 1" PVC
- 2x ½" PVC
- 1x ¼-20 bolt (recommend 1")
- 16x screws of choice, depending on what you're mounting to
