This small project box is designed to hold a 18650 Battery and has a small compartment for a PCB. Mounting standoffs with holes (fit M2 screes) are included. The lid of the box slides open and snaps in place when closed.

Dimensions:

  • Complete Box: 82 x 66 x 29 mm
  • PCB compartment: 30 x 73 mm
  • Mounting holes (center to center): 24.13 mm x 60.33 mm

I use this box for my own design of a small ESP12 based data logger. That's why the odd measures.

Battery terminals (see photos) are needed for this to work. You can find cheap ones on Amazon, etc.

Two versions are included here (incl. STEP files). One with venting holes in the box case and lid, and one without (noVent).

If you want to modify the design, here is the Original Onshape design. Or, use the STEP files.

My print settings (print time: ~ 1.5h):

  • PLA
  • Nozzle: 0.6mm
  • Layer height: 0.3mm
  • Two perimeters
  • Three top, two bottom layers
  • Infill: 15%
  • No supports
