After encountering difficulties finding a compatible alignment bracket for the Max, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Using OnShape, I meticulously crafted a customized model that would seamlessly fit the Max. My design replicates the original K1 plate alignment bracket with specific modifications to suit the Max. The bracket utilizes the same screws as the build plate notches, albeit in a reversed configuration. To ensure optimal functionality, the holes are counter-bored, necessitating an M3 flat washer. It is crucial to employ a high-temperature tolerant material, such as ABS or ASA, for the 3D printing process. Furthermore, the bracket boasts a 100% infill, guaranteeing a robust and dependable final product.
