In early summer, we stick a box fan in the studio door for ventilation (much cheaper than running the HVAC).  There are no outlets near the door, so it is useful to leave an extension cord nearby.  At the same time, the floor can get wet and the extension cord is a tripping hazard.

Designed this bracket to hold the female end of the extension cord off the floor.  Added a goofy birdhouse-style awning to stop dust and crap from falling into the receptacle's slots.  Mounts with double-sided foam tape, or with a pair of screws.

Hooded bracket prints without supports, assuming you put the rear of the bracket (the plane with the screw-holes) on the bed.  The open bracket also prints without supports, assuming the bottom of the bracket is on the bed.

I've included the parametric Fusion CAD file; modify to fit your preferred fasteners and plug/cord dimensions.
