Wondering what to do with all that pet hair coming off your pet when you groom them? Well, don't throw it away… Give it to the birds!
That's right, you can use this bird “feeder” design to provide great nesting materials for birds around your house. Just fill with your pet's hair clippings and hang near your other bird feeders.
This design should print easily and doesn't require supports. Since it's going to be outside and exposed to the elements (sun, rain, etc) you should use a filament designed for that (e.g. ABS or ASA).
The long “Pin” component serves two purposes. (1) It links the Top to the Main portion of the feeder, and (2) it provides mounting holes where you can either tie a string or use small carabiners to connect a rope for hanging.
[UPDATE: 05/08/2025] - After reports of the provided model not fitting together after printing, I've increased the tolerances between the Top and Main portions of the feeder. This should allow for an easier assembly of the model.
