After printing the great model done by @B20bob, I decided to edit it a bit and make it suitable for a leather surface.
-How to assemble:
After printing all pieces, cut a piece of leather big enough to wrap the ‘cushion’ part. This model is designed for a 2mm thickness leather but I reckon you can use a thinner leather. Also, use a leather that is soft but not stretchy as it may be more difficult.
After that, mark the leather for the glue (I directly used the cushion and marked the inner circle with a pen). Put glue on both surfaces and glue them while stretching the leather. This is the most important step. When it's dried, cut the excess leather.
Finally screw down everything as in the original model. I used m2x8 screws and it's perfect
-Printing:
I used PLA with 20% cubic infill for all parts. You can also use PETG.
The base is a little thight, this is intentional as it will clamp the leather down.
Thanks again to @B20bob for the model. If I have time I will upload later some photos for the leather bit :)
