PCT is the new method to hang your bear bag. You can do this with a stick, but this will store your paracord and carabiner together, and you don't need a fancy knot. Just throw your rock-laden carabiner over the branch, attach your bear bag, run the cord back through the carabiner. Then hoist the bag to to the top of the branch. Attach that bear bag hanger and then lower the bag until the hanger locks into the carabiner. In the morning, just reverse.
