Enclosure for the Shelly Plus 1 with a robust button.
The enclosure can be used as a handheld or foot switch. If your bookshelf has a footwell (such as USM Haller), you can place the Shelly under the cabinet and control the connected lamp with your foot (see image).
Shelly plus 1 PM fits best (it has enough terminals)
You’ll need the following additional parts:
- 1 standard microswitch (Omron SS-10 or similar)
- 4 pieces of M3 press-fit threads
- 4 pieces of M3 countersunk screws
- 2 pieces of 2.5mm cable ties
- 4 rubber feets (5mm)
Have Fun!
You have to solder 2 wires to the switch (COM and NO pin)
I use PETG on my PRUSA MK4, Nozzle 0.4mm, no supports, no rafts.
btw: i love the GEN3 shelly's! Practically no heat development in ECO Mode!
