A few days ago, I wanted to 3d print a wiimote cover for a replacement, but didn't find any good models. The only one that looked like it could work (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1276911) wasn't designed to be 3d printed, and didn't even fit. So I designed a 3d printable battery cover that fits. The fdm model isn't very aesthetic, but it's 3d printable without supports and customizable, and you can put a silicon cover. The resin model has a prettier curve at the back, and although I haven't tested it, it should also work.
Post-processing: The parts may not fit straight of the build plate, because the tabs may be messy on cheap printers (like mine). To make it fit, you can trim the sides and the ends of the tabs, and sometimes you also need to remove a little bit of plastic at the end of the clip side. When it fits, you should here a click, and getting it off should't be to hard by using to hands and it shouldn't break.
