These models are based off of a PowerPort™ Implantable Port designed at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. It's intended use is for medical education and fostering medical play opportunities. The model is designed based off of photos, so measurements are likely not 100% accurate.
The inside can be filled with hot glue for needle play/education, but you will need to use one with a high temperature setting so the glue will self level. The hole for the catheter is 1/8 inch and will fit any 1/8" OD silicone tube which can be purchased on Amazon.
THIS MODEL IS ONLY APPROXIMATELY REPRESENTATIVE OF ACTUAL MEDICAL HARDWARE AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR MEDICAL REFERENCE
