Attaches with M4 hex socket head bolts and uses captive nuts to make assembly easier. I have included the STEP file in case you'd like to modify the bracket to suit your needs.
Designed for .5" core - kitespar in my case.
Installation steps:
- determine where you'll place your brackets, mark foam.
- Remove foam from shield blank.
- Attach brackets to core. (You can wrap some string or a thin layer of foam (like foamies) to the section of the core you'll attach the brackets to in order to increase the tightness of the fit if needed - I used string in my case.)
- Install brackets and affix with expanding glue.
