This piece slots into the compartment where there's normally plastic panel to help with backback rigidity. I don't use the plastic panel and havent tested this with it.
Put the wedge in so that the rounded part is against the bottom of the bag. Think it so that the wedge is trying to round the sharp edge of the bag.
I tested this wedge by putting rectangular items into the bag and testing without this wedge and with the wedge. I can say that it helps with the edge digging, but it doesn't completely fix the problem.
Surprisingly this wedge doesn't rise by itself in the compartment. I have used this while running small errands with the ctb26 and I'm still happy with the wedge addition. I havent tested this during long trip yet.
I printed red test part with PLA and it still helps with the edge digging. Final used part I printed with TPU which is black in the pictures. As you can see it has already started to conform to my body so I recommend TPU even though rigid plastics seem to work also.
This might fit other EG backpacks. The part full length is 260mm. If that length is a snug fit to your backpack back panel compartment, it might work.

Tested with framesheet, this doesn't work with it. Framesheet prevents the bag from rounding near the bottom edge.
