This is the openSCAD version of a Chrismas Gift Box I found on thingiverse in 2015 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:197159). I created it because my daughter wanted a gift box of a different size to put an engagement ring box in it…
The openSCAD file contains variables that allow you to customize the size. The most important ones are obviously width, height and depth.
To generate a printable version, you need to change the variable part to “all”. It will give you all the separate pieces on one 'buildplate'. By default it will generate an assembled view.
Dec 2024: Added a 2nd version of the script that uses the inside dimensions to determine the outside dimensions instead of the other way around.
